VRC license system regulations

1. General provisions

1.1 The racing license system applies to all championships on the VRC portal and all championship organizers must use this system.

1.2 To be allowed to the race, the participant must have a license of the category specified in the championship regulations and corresponds to the class of the participant’s car. The organizer must write in the championship regulations the license categories required in the championship. A participant can apply for registration in the championship without having the license at the moment. A license is required for the race admission.

1.3 If a participant was deprived of a license (or it was suspended), he is not allowed to all the races on the portal of all championships requiring a license, which the participant was deprived of. The ban on participation is valid until the license is restored.

1.4 The procedure for obtaining a license is determined by organizer of the championship at their own discretion, according to the license category.

1.5 To participate in several championships on cars corresponds to the one license category, a participant only needs to obtain a license of this category once in any of these championships.

1.6 The validity period of the license is determined according to these Regulations depending on the racing season of the championship (spring or autumn). If championship lasts for several seasons, the organizer of the championship has the right to extend the current license for the next season.

1.7 In fan races and fan championships it is allowed for organizer not to use this license system, i.e. to allow the race participants with any license category or without any license at all.

1.8 The official year on the VRC portal is divided into two seasons: spring – from January 1 to May 31, and autumn – from September 1 to December 31. In the period from June 1 to August 31, a license is not required to participate in any race, unless the spring season championship ends later May 31. Then the license is valid until the end of the championship.

1.9 A driver is considered a participant of the championship if he has applied for registration in the championship and has taken part in at least one race of this championship.

Penalty points are summarized separately for each license category from all championships in which the driver participates with this license.
